Airline terminal extra

The Terminal extra items allow splits of flights between terminals where they meet the setup of From and To locations. New extra's can be added with a click to the Terminal extra item. These setting take precedence over other terminal settings elsewhere.

The name can be changed with a left click and the extra can be deleted with a right click to the Name item.

ID is set by the system.

Type. The settings depend on the selection.

From and To are used to rotate flights where the arrival (From) has no rotation or Departure (To) has no arrival section. This is of use where the airline is not based but required rotation.

The remaining items do checks on the locations both previous and next to decide that a flight need to be split between terminals. This is similar to a domestic flight moving to an International terminal but is handled on locations instead. From or To will operate on the item if either of the Previous or Next stations are in the Location set (see below). From and To require both the previous and next station to be in the location set. From not to require the previous station to be in the location set but not the next. To not from is inverse of From not to. And Not from or to means Previous and Next are not in the locations set.

Location can be either a single location or a group. Groups always have a '*' in front of the name so the system knows is a group. Either click and type the location/group name in or if a location/group is selected from the locations menu, right click to set here.

Minimum ground time has dual use. For the 'From' and 'To' type, it is the time used to rotate the flight. The flight will be set like a based airline with a FROMBASE or TOBASE setting. For rotated type, it is the time used to determine if the terminal change will happen.

Terminal arr is the arrival terminal used by the set with a Handler if required. These are selected from the menu that appears when clicked.

Departure has a similar Terminal and Handler setting.

Exclude freight will exclude freight classes from the set if set.

The 'from' and 'to' are effective date time setting this set is to use.
