terminals. To add a terminal select add terminal from the menu. To
delete a terminal, select the terminal from the list in the menu to
delete it.

The choices here are obvious and the station should be setup for the type of station. This is not important and is currently not used by the system. But it could change. |

This will change the behaviour of the calendar. It will allow the system to run local time seasons where the season starts on the local time start of day rather than UTC midnight. The rotations section does nothing yet. |
The International/Domestic flights split changes the way flights are assigned in a multi terminal system. If an International flight is going on domestic, it can be either split so it goes to another terminal, or remains in the international terminal for the rotation. It also changes the way for counts as it will be marked as international instead of domestic unless split. To change just click on the Yes or No on the end to switch. See International/Domestic for more help
Domestics on International determines the behaviour of domestic flights where the station after is international. When set, a domestic where the following flight is international will be treated as international. Again a click on the Yes or No changes the option. See International/Domestic for more help
Precleared customs is a switch put in for future use mainly in North America. It is thought the use would be for allocating apron stands to locations with customs facilities capable of handling these locations but could have other uses for those not in a position to make use of it. Such as other countries with certain agreements. For now, it is not used.
Exclude GA excludes General aviation (Class D) flights from reports. Note Output and Counts have separate set-ups for excludes.
Exclude U excludes type U flights. Although this refers to a surface vehicle, the system uses it for user defined.
Exclude Y excludes Y flights. This can be user defined to mean anything.
Quick apron ignore below size is used by quick apron when it assigns apron. Aircraft sizes below this size are ignored and not assigned. Click and input a new numeric value. Set at below 1 so all aircraft with sizes set get assigned as default.
Exclude domestic airlines excludes domestic airlines from the counts. The domestic airline flag is set in the airline table. The flag is set at input time but can be reset with validate. The value here can be changed by clicking on the Yes/No to change it.
Exclude domestic locations from count excludes flights from domestic locations . This also takes into account the other items above which change the status of a domestic flight to international. The flag is set at input time but can be changed with the validate. The value here can be set by clicking on the Yes/No to change it.
Apron safety time is the time added to the departure to allow for a little extra time. It is set at 15 minutes by default but can be changed by clicking on the 15 and changing it to what you want.
Apron move safety time is the time added to the on/off times together with apron safety that a split terminal flight will not be moved. Also the idle section will be ignored.
Apron times determines if the apron gate times are dealt with in UTC or local. This is set per station and all Apron work will be dealt with using this setting. If changed, the clear assigns should be used to reset the times otherwise the result will not be usable.
Station curfew has setups for both summer and winter and by weekdays, Saturday and Sunday. Each has a start and end time. By default they are all 00:00 and treated as not set (no curfew). To set the curfew, click on the relevant item and type the time in 24 hour clock format. The curfew times can be used to set the time range and are used by the counts when set in the user defined count sets. Also a count set can be created using the curfew. More on that in count user defined sets.
Parking stands take the setup page to another area where parking stands are set up. See the apron setup section. Parking stands are available to all terminals and are usualy seperate from any terminal.
Use parking stands sets the allocation of stands in quick apron and full apron so any parking stand can be used if allocation fails to find a spare normal or bussed stand. Note bussed stands are concidered fair game for allocation.
Create apron file. This enables the file to be created in quick apron. A text file and CSV file is created if this is set. See quick apron.
The four items set the default terminal used for the international, domestic, freight and general aviation. A click on each item will give a menu with a list of available terminals. The list will depend on the setup of the terminals. This setting will be used when a new airline not already in the tables appears in the incoming messages. If these settings are cleared and a message comes in for a new airline, it will be unable to deal with the new airline until that airline is set up.
The slot time is used by the statistics as a default time.
Terminals gives a list of available terminals in this station. To add a terminal, either click on the word Terminal and select add terminal or use the Station setup label at the top. To select the terminal to edit, click on that terminal and the screen will change to setup the terminal.
