The label at the top allows the addition of handlers and handler groups. More on those in the relevant sections but for now Add handler or group will add that item to the system. Delete will show a list of handlers already in the system and allow deletion. |
Terminal shows the name of the terminal. By default it is given the name Terminal plus the number. This name can be changed by clicking on the item and typing in a new name.
Internal ID is set by the system and cannot be changed.
Terminal code is the code that appears in the SSIM manual. It can be changed by clicking on the item and typing in a new code.
Apron stands takes you to the setup screen for apron stands for the terminal. More on that in the apron setup section.
Checkin desks takes you to the Checkin desk setup.
Handlers gives a list of available handlers if set up and clicking on the handler will move to the setup for that handler.
Handler groups allows groups of one or more handlers to be set up. Groups are used by apron setup to allow more than one handler to use certain stands. More on that in the handler group section and apron setup section.
Off and on stand times in minutes
are used for two things. One is the based
airlines where rotations are not received, and the other to move
flights to hard parking when stands are required during busy times.
The off stand times are used to remove aircraft from stands after
arrival and on stand is the time to bring the aircraft back prior to
departure. The four setting here are off and on and for international
and domestic flights.
Note if the on and off stand times are both zero then a flight will
not be parked. This will not stop a two part where the terminals
change for arrival to departure.
The next four items starting with International set the usage of the terminal. This will change the menu items that appear for default terminals in station setup and set the usage for apron assignment.
The next three items change the count behaviour for this terminal. The international passenger count multiplier with times the count by the set amount in counts. To change it, click on the item and enter a new number. The load factor allows factoring to be used in the counts. Its across the board except charter is a separate item.
Exclude domestic airlines/locations excludes these items from counts. An airline can be set as domestic in the airline setup and a location can be set in the location setup.
